# Installation

> Install the ReyGrid Python SDK from PyPI.

```bash theme={"system"}
pip install reygrid
```

| Requirement | Version |
| - | - |
| Python | 3.9 or later |
| Dependency | `httpx >= 0.27.0` (installed automatically) |

The package name is `reygrid` and the import is `reygrid`. The version documented here is `1.0.3`.

  pip install "reygrid[dev]"   # pytest, pytest-asyncio, httpx-sse
  ```

  The SDK's own streaming implementation parses SSE with httpx and doesn't require `httpx-sse`.
